APARTMENT RENT SCHEDULE

Our apartments are available for rent for either the fall semester, summer session, spring semester, the academic school year (Fall & Spring Semester). 

The apartment rental schedule  for UC Berkeley affiliates follows the UC Berkeley academic calendar. Our rental schedule must be followed, even if your stay in shorter than the dates mentioned.  

Our agreements must follow our rental schedule even if you stay for a shorter time. 

SPRING 2018 SEMESTER

Move-out: May 31, 2018

SUMMER 2018 SEMESTER

*12 weeks   Move-in: May 16, 2018 

Move-out: August 16, 2018

*10 weeks  Move-in: June 1, 2018

*minimum of 2 months rental for the summer semester. We add an additional cost to the monthly rate for the shorter term. 

FALL 2018 - SPRING 2019 SEMESTER

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • To hold the rental for your group until your applications are complete, we can hold a $1,000 non-refundable holding deposit which transfers to your security deposit.
  • Complete rental application

Please reach out to us here and inform us which apartment you are interested in applying for and for which semester and we will send you the application. Please do not apply unless we inform you that the apartment is available for application. 

Please pay the application fee directly on the website to complete the application process. This fee is paid directly on the screening agency and it is a non-refundable fee. Please note that all interested tenants and their co-signers must fill out an application separately. Co-signers should indicate who they are co-signing for as the co-applicant.  

Please upload the following documents with your application: 

  • A copy of government issued photo-id (e.g., driver’s license, passport, military ID, etc.) - one copy each for your co-signer and for each tenant applying
  • The Tenant's and Co-signer's proof of income / employment (e.g., paystub, bank statement, social security, W2s, Form 4506 from the IRS, Bank statements etc.) that show 3x rent requirement
  • Copy of the Tenant's UC Berkeley ID, UC Berkeley acceptance letter, and for international students: an I-20
  • RENT PAYMENT. Once your application is approved and your documents are complete, the first month, last month's rent and deposit are due to reserve your stay. 
  • OTHER RELATED FEES.
    • Monthly utilities & maintenance fee
      • Studio - 4 Bedrooms:  $75 per month per person
      • Bancroft House- $100 per month per person. This includes weekly cleaning of house. 
    • An additional $500/month after the number of persons allowed on the listing (if allowed)
    • Pet fee, it varies in each apartment
    • Parking, varies in each apartment (if available)
    • To remove furniture, the minimum charge is $300
    • To include furniture, the minimum charge is $500
    • Additional one-time cleaning fee (deep clean fee for semester-based rentals):
      • Studio - $200 
      • 1-Bedroom - $250
      • 2-Bedroom - $300
      • 3-Bedroom - $350
      • Bancroft House- $200 per room
