To hold the rental for your group until your applications are complete, we can hold a $1,000 (with US credit, doubled without) non-refundable holding deposit which transfers to your security deposit.

Please upload the following documents with your application:
A copy of government issued photo-id (e.g., driver’s license, passport, military ID, etc.) - one copy each for your co-signer and for each tenant applying
The Tenant's and Co-signer's proof of income / employment (e.g., paystub, bank statement, social security, W2s, Form 4506 from the IRS, Bank statements etc.) that show 3x rent requirement
Copy of the Tenant's UC Berkeley ID, UC Berkeley acceptance letter, and for international students: an I-20
RENT PAYMENT. Once your application is approved and the lease is signed, the first month and last month's rent and security deposit are due on the same day that the lease is signed.

Monthly utilities & maintenance fee
Monthly Utility Fee $150/month/person
An additional $500/month+ after the number of persons allowed on the listing (if allowed and depending on unit)
Pet fee, it varies in each apartment
Parking, varies in each apartment (if available)
To remove furniture, the minimum charge is $300
To add furniture, the minimum charge is $500
For PGE (electricity & gas) bills that exceed the amount stated on the lease, the remainder of the bill will be charged to the guest directly
Additional one-time cleaning fee (to cover deep cleaning upon move out) per semester:
Studio - $200/semester
1-Bedroom - $250/semester
2-Bedroom - $300/semester
3-Bedroom - $350/semester
Bancroft House- $300 per room
Dwight House - $300 per person (includes weekly cleaning of common areas)
