Esperanza started and runs Academic Housing Rentals Inc. while raising her two children. For the sustainability work that her team and her are doing at AHR and throughout her life, she was featured this month among the 12 women and girls of color from all over the world leading the charge in climate science and activism. Her extensive public sector experience in climate change, sustainable development, entrepreneurship, local government, and international relations with exposure to UN development has allowed her to play leadership roles as a global youth leader, speaker, climate change policy negotiator, and educator. Her work has been featured in several books and magazines including Unipro's "30 Top Filipinos Under 30," Swedish magazine, "Heroes of Today," and Humaneity's publication "Mobilizing Young People to Save the Planet" Financial Times, MSNBC, Elle, and Huffington Post. Her awards include Unipro's "30 top Filipinos under 30," "The Outstanding Filipinos of NY," "Women in Green Trailblazer Award," and "Care2 Impact Award."
With 20 years of Property Management and 15 years of Event Management Experience Jocelyn is here to keep our properties filled and residents happy! She also DJ's all over the world. Catch her next gig this coming March 29 at the Sweets Historic Ballroom in Oakland.
